About Viapostille

A Montréal-based, fully bilingual document service built for the post-2024 apostille era.

When Canada joined the Hague Apostille Convention on January 11, 2024, a decades-old two-step legalization routine was replaced overnight by six parallel systems — one federal, five provincial — each with its own forms, fees, formats and quirks. Most of the confusion people face today isn't the apostille itself; it's figuring out which door to knock on and how that door wants its paperwork.

Viapostille was built around one idea: since every Canadian apostille authority works by mail anyway, the best service isn't an office downtown — it's flawless preparation, honest timelines, real tracking, and a human who answers in your language. We operate remotely from Montréal, in French and English, for clients across Canada and abroad.

We are deliberately transparent about three things: our prices are published; government fees are billed at cost; and you can always apply directly to the authorities yourself — our free pre-check will even tell you when your case is simple enough that you should.

Viapostille is an independent private company. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. For legal questions about your specific situation, consult a lawyer or notary.
